         The vertical automatic diaphragm filter press (abbreviation: vertical filter press) is a solid-liquid separation device. The high-pressure filtration principle is adopted. The slurry is intercepted by the filte
r cloth and the filtrate is discharged to realize solid-liquid separation. The vertical filter press adopts vertical installation structure, human-computer interaction interface and PLC control. It can realize fully automatic operation, has the advantages of short feeding time, low energy consumption, small floor space, low filter cake moisture, high washing rate and filter cloth regeneration. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, food, medicine, Paper, sugar, dyes, sewage treatment and other industries.
         Application industry: gold, copper smelting, acid treatment, molecular sieve, ultrafine aluminium hydroxide, starch, pharmaceutical intermediates, lithium battery materials, flame retardants, food additives, organic solvents, gypsum and other industries.

The process system of the vertical filter press mainly includes several parts, including the feeding system, pneumatic control system, filter cloth cleaning system, pipeline system, extrusion water system, host and electro-hydraulic control system. In order to focus on operation and maintenance of the workshop environment, the system equipment is usually arranged in two layers: the upper layer houses the vertical filter press host, hydraulic system, and electrical control system, while the lower layer houses the feeding system, pneumatic control system, filter cloth cleaning system, extrusion water system, and pipeline system, achieving dry and wet separation of the equipment and effectively extending its service life.


2.working principle
        BLZG series vertical filter press is controlled by PLC. The filtration method adopts single-side filtration, single-side extrusion and double-side discharge. It mainly realizes 6 processes: static pressure filtration, primary diaphragm extrusion, filter cake washing, Secondary diaphragm extrusion, filter cake drying, filter cake discharge and filter cloth washing.
(1) Working principles
         Filter stage: when the filter plate frame closed and sealed,the slurry enter into each filter cavity visa slurry piping. Under the effect of static pressure of feed pump, filtrate enters into filtrate pipe visa filter cloth. The solid body is held back in filter cavity by filter cloth.
(2)Diaphragm extruding 1
         Once extruding: high pressure water(high pressureair) enter into the diaphragm above visa hosepipe, diaphragm extruding filtercake to  the surface orientation of filter cloth, the filter cloth changes is thinner and extrude the remained filtrate out of filter cake.

(3)Filter cake washing
        Washing(option stage): use the same method with slurry, the  washing liquid is transmitted to filter cavity by pump, due to that  washing liquid filled in filter cavity, diaphragm is raised, washing liquid inflow into filtrate pipe visa filter cake and filter cloth under the pressure of pump.
(4)Diaphragm extruding II
    Twice extruding(optional stage): after washing stage, the washing liquid left in filter cavity will be extruded from filter cake by the method in the second
stage, and realize displacement washing function.

(5)High press air passes filter cake for drying
Air drying: The compressed air entered into filter cavity takes away the moisture left in the filter cake particles, reduces the moisture content of filter cake       
to the optimum degree, at the same time, to empty the filtrate in filter cavity.
(6)Automatically filter cake unloading and automatically filter cloth washing
       Discharge of filter cake: When the drying process is completed,the plate and frame components are opened, the filter cloth driving mechanism starts to run,
and the filter cake on the filter cloth is automatically discharged from both sides of  the filter press, while the washing water strongly wash the filter cloth through the high-pressure nozzle.

3.Vertical filter press technical features
    (1)Each filter chamber grouting separately ensures that all the filters are fed synchronously. The pressure of the filter plate is uniform, the time of filling the filter chamber with slurry is short, and the filtering speed is much better than that of the fast-opening filter with central feeding (single-end or double-end).
     (2)Up to 1.6MPa diaphragm extrusion force and advanced filter cake section high pressure blow drying dehydration drying technology,  more suitable for the filtration of fine particulate materials and viscous materials, which can greatly reduce the moisture content of filter cake, thus shorten the thermal drying time of filter cake, reduce energy consumption and transportation costs.

    (3)The horizontal placement of the filter plate and the filter cake replacement washing can minimize the consumption of washing water and effectively improve the washing efficiency, product recovery rate and product quality.
   (4)It can realize 100% automatic continuous operation, greatly reduce the number of employees, ensure the best production process effect, and provide users with a healthy, safe, environmentally friendly and civilized production environment.
   (5)All the filter plates are pulled open at one time, the filter cloth drives walking, and the two ends of the filter cloth are automatically unloaded. At the same time, the filter cloth is cleaned by double-sided and multi-point high pressure. The regeneration effect of the filter cloth is good, the maintenance and replacement are convenient, and the operation cost is low.
    (6)Using PLC + touch screen automatic control technology, it can display valve switch status, inquire history record, fault alarm and modify process parameters online. It has high sensitivity, safety, reliability and easy operation.
